- Stratigraphy and sedimentology of tectonically controlled sedimentary basins (experienced in the foreland basins of Northern Apennines, Tertiary Piedmont Basin and South-Central Pyrenees).

- Development of chaotic bodies (block-in-matrix fabric) and the role of the overpressured fluids in tectonically controlled sedimentary basins.
